Major diff in Google Plays dashboard and Unitys analytics dashboard.

    In Google Play it shows that i have been having thousands of downloads during the past 5 days while in Unity the "New Players" data is around 20-50 daily.

    How can this happen?

    We don't track downloads, only those players who actually launch your game.

    So you mean the sudden surge of players just downloaded the game but never actually played it? It sounds very strange. I guess it would have been realistic if we talked about a few players doing this but not thousands.

    Yes, it does sound unusual. I might suggest that you open a support ticket and provide a screenshot of your Google Play download report, and please provide your Unity ProjectID/UPID here https://analytics.cloud.unity3d.com/support/
