    Windows 8.1

The upper menu bar seems to be overflowing offscreen. See photo.

    How can I correct this?

It starts maximized. I managed to somehow pull the window down, and it properly aligned the toolbar.

It seems that when it launches maximized, the Windows 8 frame (the blue colored one) is hidden. Once I resized it (again, not sure how I did this, it was an accidental click and voila) the window displayed properly.

If your monitor have the option "AUTO", that can be fixed, some times its Monitor is not positions synchronized. That have same result in browsers too, and other apps. In my case my Monitor is Samsung and have that Option "AUTO". Then test maximize and maximize to see if the windows stay in correct positions.

Thank you for the suggestion; unfortunately this is occurring on my laptop. It did occur when I plugged into my external monitor (we must have the same Samsung, hehe), and normally Auto fixes it but it didn't.

In Laptop i have no idea how to, probably is a unity Bug.. I was that problem too, sense the AUTO synchronized screen fix, not only in Unity 3D it appends in other windows apps. i no have that issues anymore.
You can try check you laptop video settings(graphics card) check the resolutions. Check Video card updates.

Thanks. It may be video card related; I'm using a fresh 8.1 install with Boot Camp and there are a couple of other idiosyncrasies.

And on an unrelated note - good luck today, GO USA! ;)

In case anyone else is having this problem I used ALT + SPACE + X

This is the standard way to maximise a window in windows. I hope this helps someone :)

    Note: for the record

    ALT + SPACE + X = Maxmise
    ALT + SPACE + N = Minimise
ALT + SPACE + M = Move (when not maximised, ie, in window mode)

    freely and teknophyl like this.

hey guys. maximizing the window did not help me so I used the Move command and used the arrows or mouse to re-place the window

    Alt+Space+M

    or

    Alt+Space + click move.
