I'm also looking forward to getting the magazine in a different format. I currently only own Windows devices which means I can't get the magazine unfortunately.

A new web player for the awesome Unt3dMag (Unity 3D Magazine), you can now subscribe and get access to every issue from any HTML 5 device (yes that includes Windows Phone )
I tested in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox. Everything is working fine.

Ah, I see you offer a subscription for the desktop version. You really should say that it is desktop version here or on the main page of your link. I actually had to click on 3 month subscription to figure out that there is a desktop version. I am assuming this is for windows.

 

Do you offer "paper" hard-copies at all? I'd love to read this while sitting on the toilet.

I'm not joking either. Also, like Teila asked, how do I get the desktop version. I don't use mobile phones that much

Unfortunatelly is not possible to read all platforms with the same purchase.
I would love to do it, but I don'tt have how to integrate Android, Amazon, IOS, Windows Phone and desktop users.

 

Why not create a user system and use the same database with your website for it?

 

you can open the magazine in IOS and Android using www.unt3dmag.com/store.
but is not the same experience than purchase directly in Google Play or App Store, because the native magazine it's an app made for each platform.

 

Also subscribed, will look at the first issue later. Is each issue having the double price of the previous one?

We are working hard on issue #4 of Unt3Dmag magazine, however we are making some big changes this month and we’d like your feedback.


The two most important changes are:


1. Unt3Dmag remain free from now on. The other issues are already free on the website and you can read right now if you wish using the online/desktop viewer, if you have not already done so.


2. We will no longer be making exclusive versions for iOS, Android and Amazon. Believe me, it is an insane job and so far most people have adopted the web version as your favorite. So it does not make any sense to continue investing so much time and money in this mobile only stuff.


Now, as we are focusing and investing more time in the web version, we would like to know what readers would prefer to see in the future. So I’m sending a link for a very simple survey and asking you to vote on your preferences using the link below.

They are only three questions and they will define the design of Unt3Dmag going forward, as always you can also email me with any suggestions or improvements as well, we are always open to feedback.


Issue #4 will be available in a couple of weeks, so we need to get the new format defined quickly based on this survey. So reach out and help us to make Unt3DMagazine the best ever and get involved!
