Mac Release

    This is the closest thing to a section on Apple Macs.

    Does anyone have any suggestion how I could release a private game among a small community on the Mac (3,000 or so), but not on the Apple Mac Store? Is that possible?

    People just seem to talk about the Apple Mac Store on google. How difficult is it to publish simply to Macs in general? I can't see any downloadable installers for Mac.

    The iOS section is for iOS only; I've moved this to an appropriate section.

    Just zip it up and put it on a website.

    You don't use installers on OS X (except for more complex cases such as Unity). If you want to distribute a game "properly" then you'd create a .dmg, but a zip file is acceptable.
