Resolved Mac M1 problem? Recorder can record .mp4 but not .mov

    Hi, I had recorded the same project before on a different computer and it definitely worked. Now when I'm trying to record it again with the exact same setting (Unity recorder ProRes Quicktime) on my own computer, it saves as an empty .mov file that can't be opened no matter how many times I try.

    At the same time the .mp4 format recording works fine. Any idea why?

    Just read an old thread and realized that it's a Mac M1 problem. The other post was initiated in 2021 and in 2023 this is still not solved?! Unbelievable -_-

    Hello nitrocaphane,

    It appears that the problem you're facing was resolved in Unity Recorder version 4.0.0-pre.4, which is available for Unity 2022.1 and newer.

    You're right, I updated to 2022.2.20f1 and test recorded. Thank you!
