Recently, I was able to allocate some time towards a personal project . Through my work with CC4 and iClone, I found that they provide a pipeline tool that eases character setup in Unity. My background in Unity goes back to 2010, and I have a constant desire to delve into real-time rendering. Hence, I saw this as a great chance to revisit this field. Unity has undergone a lot of changes, and as a graphics enthusiast, it was exciting to experiment with the HDRP render pipeline.

For more info on the project please check my blog.

Well Done! I checked out your Art Station work and am highly impressed with what you have done, I know how much effort has to be expended to animate human figures and expressions. I am sure Unity will be an amazing tool for your work. Real time rendering is the ultimate as far as I am concerned. I also started in Unity at about the same time as you 2009/2010. I stopped using it because in those days the free version was very limited and I was not prepared to purchase the professional version. I started using it again in 2019 and am an addict! I am now retired, 76, and spend my free time on my personal project which is a train simulator modelled on our model engineering societies track. Being retired from commercial work in modelling and animation as well as prototype building in my workshop I did not want to lose my skills in 3D built up since 2000 and engineering and illustrating since the 70s so this project was perfect for me. I posted a thread on 13 Feb and one a few days ago. I see you also have a perfectionist approach to your work!

it looks quite good, think Cascadeur makes things look a bit ' rubber ' - animation, however the results are easy to generate, and better than having few animation - skills, overall the stuff looks good, character design is nice, and the final result is decent . . .

checked the blog, and overall the content there looks pro, and it's going to be interesting to see if there are more updates, atm think you got a very cool prototype, or an 8 // 10 finish title . . .

    :) :)
