LWRP unexpected results with XR in 2018.1.7

    I started 2018.1.7 with the out-of-box "LWRP for VR" template. I then added an asset using the Standard Physically Based LWRP shader:

    I set the Scriptable Render Pipeline Settings in Graphics Settings to LWRP-HighQuality and got the nice emissive glow with scattering effect I was looking for in the Editor window:

    However, when I ran the game (in Editor), the glow disappeared:

    Poking a little deeper, I confirmed that it's the LWRP-HighQuality asset that's being used. Only when I disabled XR in Player Settings did the nice glow return when playing.

    Expected behavior?
