    no. mybe you are using deferred and did not assign the needed deffered lighting and reflection shadersß

    Shaders were working fine, now they won't compile. I created a new material and the shaders randomly broke and won't compile now. Any thoughts?

    that looks like a very strange error...
    maybe duplicating one of the included plus standard helps?

    The duplicated shader seems to compile fine, but not the original. Is there a reason that works?

    I decided to try and restart Unity after clearing ShaderCache and it seems the materials work again, but for some reason the shaders can't be selected. They still exist in the "Failed to Compile" category even though they seem to work fine. I have to manually change the shader on a material to be able to use it. This is very weird.

    Edit: These are the errors on the shader when I select it.

    Edit 2: The next day, the whole shader won't compile now.

    hmm, that does not make much sense.
    which version of unity do you use?

    I'm on the latest Unity 2019.4, x64, Linear, Deferred, Built-in. Lux is the only custom shader I'm using for lighting. I also use Lux water and particles, but I don't think that should affect anything. I also have the correct scripts in the scene (manager, dynamic weather, etc)

    i just checked unity 2019.4.17f1 and Lux Plus 2.03: all shaders are fine.
    so i have no idea waht is going on in your project.

    Yes, I would assume it works for you, but that doesn't help me at all since your shaders don't work for me.

    i can understand your frustration. but as my tests shows it should run.
    so to do another test i would like to ask you to create a new project and import the package. the see how it looks there.
