This and a couple of (presumably 4) other models will be available in a “Low Poly Military Aircraft Set” at the Asset Store in a few weeks.

The models come in parts which exist in different detail levels, so you can put together your models just the way you like. See screenshots for examples of the parts; parts with a “0” at the end are high detail parts, the higher the number the lower the details. Moveable parts – wheels, rotors etc. – are positioned under handle objects, so they are ready for animation.

This model has 2580 tris/4707 verts with the lowest detail level, and 5084 tris/9161 verts with the highest level. There are a couple of areas where I will reduce the poly count even more, so the final model should be around 2000 tris at the lowest level.

The models only use colors but they use an atlas, so they all render with the same material.

Any suggestions, ideas, wishes are welcome.

For those who are wondering: this is “model #2” because #1 is still a WIP.

    Regards,

    G.

Good looking model. It looks specifically like vietnam war era military, will the other models fit the same theme?

    Thanks for your reply!
Hmm... not really sure if I exactly know what "vietnam war era" looks like... :)
But basically they will have the same look, yes.
