Version 1.7 will include animated arms, should I keep the current example prefabs or remove them?

    So if Full Body, Multiplayer, and such is confirmed, how about an inventory system? Or at least an integration with Inventory Pro. Armor of some sort would be great though, so that you can put on armor sets and other players can see them.

    I focus more on making models and animations for the pack, so I don't think I will be adding inventory system or anything similar (I'm not a programmer so it's probably best if you take care of that part) :)

    Your work is amazing, keep it up :D.
    May I seggest a new weapon: Grappling hook :) it could add alot to the pack!
    Just a seggestion, The pack looks incredible!

    Hey all. Just saw this asset and was very intrigued. I am looking to put out an FPS on Android and was wondering what packs people have found for NPCs? I have the opposite problem, I am a programmer and not a modeller.

    However, in my testing, the lighting effect has some problem.

    What I see is over-white images, and I can't let it go with turning light intensity down.

    I solve this problem by set up the vignette value to 0 in camera's inspector. Actually I believe you should always set the value between 0 and 1 in Unity.

    Would love to see a full body character released. Even if just with one texture. The pack is really nice, a lot to play with!

    When trying to run any demo in the latest Unity I get the following:

    Assets/Low Poly FPS Pack/Components/Demo Scene/Scripts/FlashbangEffectScript.cs(6,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `UnityStandardAssets' could not be found. Are you missing an assembly reference?

    I'm guessing you need to import the Unity Standard Assets package?

    Make sure you follow the instructions in the pdf and import Image Effects from the Standard Assets but also you have to import Legacy Image Effects from the asset store.

    This is very sad. Maybe the pack being on sale (and a few extra sales) will help get the dev active again. Fingers crossed

    Hi,

    your asset is great, mostly working out of the box. I made some changes to make it work in VR and have a couple small questions:

    1. I want to use 2 weapons, each in one hand. I changed the key bindings from mouse to joystick in your script. Now of course any weapon is shooting when I press the trigger. Is it possible to make weapon 1 shoot when button 1 is pressed and weapon 2 when button 2 is pressed?
    1. How can I define a tag for the bullets? E.g. if I want a collider as a trigger when a type tagged bullet hits it, how can I achive this? I also need this for my damage system.
    1. When I add the explosive barrels script to my own object, the object explodes, spills out objects and doesnt stop doing this...It does not get destroyed as expected.

    What? I just paid 50 bucks for this...I dont need much support, but knowing how add a tag to the bullets so i can use this with playmaker would be fine. Any ideas anyone?

    I feel yeah! I paid 50 bucks for it too! I mean the asset is really cool! I finally managed to get a weapon pickup system working that works with the GunSwitching script but I was hoping to discuss some ideas with the Developer...

    Just to clarify, the asset is not dead! I apologize for not being active here on the forums, that's my bad, university has been taking up alot of my time. I am still working on the next update (full body character) whenever I feel motivated and have some free time. I plan on getting alot of work done during the summer, and hopefully release the update :)

    Looking forward to the full body update. Not sure how many character skins you'll include but it'd be cool to see some Western skins (even just one cowboy skin would be super cool).

    The first update will most likely be the "default" camo skins only, but eventually all current skins will be added, I could consider adding some new ones as well :)

    Great asset, just purchased! I'm hoping we can get the errors fixed for using legacy image effects? Otherwise, looking forward to the next release!

    Hey, to remove the errors related to the old image effects, you can remove all image effects used in the demo scenes :)

    Just uploaded the latest update for review, hopefully it won't take too long before it goes live! :)
    I will be updating the third person character model in parts, this update only contains animations for "handgun 1", but now that I got the base animations down it will be easier/faster to adjust them to fit the other weapons

    This update includes
    • Third person character model
    • Third person ragdoll model
    • Improved casing script
    • New demo scene
    • New character textures

    Lol, fair enough but I guess I was trying to get some information on Low Poly FPS potentially moving to the newer Unity effects. ;) I'd like to have image effects out of the box as a couple of the old deprecated ones are problematic. No worries for now, I absolutely love this asset and admire your hard work. cheers!

    btw, your newest update looks totally rad!

    Should work with the latest version, the only issue is the old image effects in the demo scenes
