There are always a lot of warnings coming from the standard assets and editor packages. Nothing bad, but I dont like it. At 5.4 I had a look into it and corrected the code parts that caused the warnings, often this is no rocket science, only old stuff which is depreciated (blackberry & co).

After updating to 5.5 I hoped, this stuff would be cleared out, but now there are even more warnings.

So I guess moving trough the code clearing the stuff out again is a losing battle, so is there any way to switch off only those warnings?

If the warnings are just source code related, you can open up the script and add the following at the beginning of the fileL
    Code (csharp):
    1.
    2. #pragma warning disable
    3.
This should stop warning messages from being displayed.
I do this for asset store scripts too when I'm tired of looking at the warnings.
