I m looking to see if anyone would be interested in have their game hosted on my site. i have a website up and running, ill be adding to it as time goes by. i just released my first game and i want to promote my game and my site. Your games can help me, while my site might be able to help you as well. let me know if your are interested, please no unfinished games as they will be on the front page. the site can be found at borderlessgames.com you can see my game there, your listing would look just like mine does.

It's nice that you want to offer a service to other developers, but there are already a bunch of portal sites out there that take Unity games and have no real barrier to entry - Kongregate and Wooglie spring to mind, but it wouldn't take much searching to find others.

If they offer the same thing as you, but have a better looking site and a large established user base, why would someone want to choose a new or unknown site? No offense, but it's kind of a no brainer.

Kudos for wanting to be helpful though ;)

yeah i have my game on kongregate and newgrounds but after a few days the game becomes harder to find (for people just browsing). i have no intentions of creating a game portal, was just looking to add some content to my site until i have more games made. kongregate allows people to embed games into their own website (as ill probably do anyway) but i figured i would offer the space to some unity guys before i started embedding other peoples games.

In other words you provide us with free hosting services just so our games can fill out your front page?
The reason why games are "lost" on kongregate and newegrounds is because community doesn't play it a lot.
Solution is making high quality games. Both websites have "Top rated"/"Hot" pages for nothing.

elmar, I can fill the pages on my own, there are millions of things on the web for people to fill their pages with, was simply offering the space to people here first.

don't let these guys put you down, it's as if they say, "Hey guy, there are tons of web game portal sites out there, what will make you different?". These guys are pessimists. I can assure you that Kongregate did not start out as pessimist. IN fact, I will be the first to offer you my game, a Unity game, downloaded and played over 400k times on web game websites. PM me and I will get you the details. F*** THESE PESSIMISTS.

Seriously, my game on Kongregate has over 100,000 plays... why is it lost? It's lost because Flash is 'OUT OF BUSINESS'. It's time for a web portal to step up to the plate and only offer non-flash games. Flash games are 'out of business', it's a proven fact. With HTML5 and WebGL, this is a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY... Those old flash game websites are stuck, for the 5 years of dealing with flash, they are never going to recover. The new games are with Unity5 and WebGL, and the only way to port quickly is with Unity5.

Geez, get with the times, why don't you.

Do I sound like a pessimist? There are tons of websites which allow you to play Unity exclusive games including HTML5 games.
Plus, he doesn't want to use our games for business, but to "decorate" his website until he makes games of his own.
Also stop swearing or I'll report you.

WHAT? Did I really "swear"? and in what language? I don't swear. I'm an adult in an adult forum... this is not a forum dedicated to your game. If you don't want swearing in your game, then create your own forum. I was only introducing thoughts by me who is a real game dev, who makes money every day, to live. to eat. to feeed their children. This is not a game forum, this is a game dev forum.

I focus every day on how I can make money making games, you may have boundries on your website which inhibits speech, but I live in Los Angeles, NO ONE INHIBITS MY SPEECH, NOT EVEN THE PLATFORM I'M WRITING IN. If you want to advertise to me, that is a different story, but I can assure you, advertising to me will not progress your game. Increase your game by advertising in your market where they inhibit speech, but for me, and can say WHAT THE F*** I WANT AND I DON'T GIVE A F*** WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT. THIS IS THE BENEFIT OF 'FREE SPEECH'/.

If you're an adult then pull yourself together. You have freedom of speech just like everyone but not take everything personally.

You are SADLY MISTAKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not everyone has the rights of free speech. You may open your web browser and thin that everyone is the same as you, but is not true. Half the world is limited. They do not have free speech like you eloquently procure. This is simply not true, but I wish it were. We live in a twisted world, where half the population is free, and half is not. You simply don't understand what you are saying. It would be nice if every game dev could make they game they want, but that is not true.... don't think of yourself in living in a virtual reality where that is true.

I have many game dev friends who live in 3rd world countries where, if they so much have said things outside of parliament, that means their heads will be cut off. That is all I'm saying, not every country is so rich as USA, god bless them, muslim or not.

Please read the rules; note in particular the part about "no offensive language in any form".
