Question Looking for tips and ideas to better "embed" roads in to terrain

    Hello!

    I am building a driving game in a grid based city. The road network is made out of meshes and I use a unity terrain to fill out the area "between" roads.

    One of mig big current issues is how to get the terrain to snugly fit the roads (when there is elevation change), without having annoying gaps between road and terrain and/or terrain poking trough the tarmac.

    I have had some success using the sculpt>bridge tool, but this usually also requires quite a lot of "hand tuning" afterwards.

    So is there a better way to achieve this?

    I am very much a beginner so I might have overlooked something really basic.

    Other information that might be relevant is that the game uses an isometric 45° perspective and that the target platform is Webgl.
