Hi, i'm looking for ongui free alternatif,, now i'm using uitoolkit but having problem in scaling the gui for hd resolution because there is a weird error in the ui.cs file that come and i already posted it in prime31 thread but not getting any response yet so maybe in here there is anyone willingly to share another way to show ingame HUD that have better performance for windows phone...?

    thank you... :D

my only need is to show some picture/sprites and showing text with a compatibility for multiple screen since my hud only doing some transform position animation and scaling only

There is a free version of NGUI, not sure how it compares to the full version though.

One popular method is to have mesh planes in front of a separate 2d camera on their own render layer to use for buttons/HUD and such

Making your own UI or trying to find a free UI is just going to cause you headaches.
You can wait for Unity 4.6 release to get the new Unity UI.

Or I can highly recommend NGUI, we use it on Windows Phone extensively without any issues.
The free version of NGUI is very old and not supported, and will most likely not support WP8 correctly.

wow thank you, now i already using it and works perfect in my lumia 820 and also in wxga emulator

well thank you for helping but i'm using ngui free version now.. it's awesome maybe when i saved up some money i will buy the pro version

well yes it is already old, i only get version 2.7 but hey it's free and match my need, 1 draw calls for all my gui, and support multiple resolution and got some extra easy tweening feature.... i'm very happy at this moment :D
