    Hello Unity Community!

First of all, i would like to apologise if this is not the right place to ask!

So i would like to make a 2.5D or 3D online mobile mmorpg. I have found several assets in the unity store, i dont mind buying them, however i would need some advice, where to start.

My idea is a game, where people could join with their device, playing their own game, and time by time there would be an update for game extension, new levels , events etc..

So far the assets i have read trough havent stated theese opportunities.

I would like to ask kindly, anyone could help me out where to start, would be really really appreciated.

Again, i apologise if its not the right thread for this question.

Wish you all a great Day!

Your question's phrasing makes me think this might be your first (or one of your first) games.

Making an MMORPG of any type is about a 10 out of 10 on the difficulty scale, despite all the thousands of youtube videos saying "make an MMORPG in ten minutes!"

At a minimum, start with some of those tutorials (there are dozens if not hundreds) and be prepared for a significant time investment to do anything that isn't just a graphic chatroom.

As a point of reference, six friends of mine made a simple MMO in one week last December, and they had the benefit of one of the guys being a current professional game server engineer... and it STILL took them a full week of six guys hammering on it to even get anything worthwhile talking about.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, i have been prepared for it, its gonna be a long run, i am willing to take time and money, effort into the goal i wish to acchieve. It be better to hire some people, but i want to learn it, and be a bone part of the project. So for that, i was asking for advices, from the more routined, experienced ones than me :)
