Question Looking for advanced 2D Platformer creation material to study

Does anyone here have a source? If not that then who here has a solid passionate discord dedicated to 2D action platformer building? Im already in the middle of building my own but i just need to learn more to flesh out what ive started.

What game style mine is? Its inspired by games like NES:
Castlevania
Megaman
Metroid
&
Ninja Gaiden

Ive created the character. moves. an attack. two stages and a Boss etc. Im just looking for more information how to do things and better methods. Im using visual studio script to code btw. Thats all this post is about. I think if searched all i could find on youtube for Unity tutorials
