Hello, I would like recommendations on good game design books. I would prefer a book, but if a website is really good I can check that out too.

I am interested mainly on the organization aspect of game design. Like how you keep everything in order, and professionally presented, so other people can actually pick up what you're putting down.

    Hopefully that makes some sense.

I'll +1 the recommendation for Art of Game Design. Jesse Schell, the book's author, is head of Schell Games, an underrated company based out of Pittsburgh, which also employs Ryan Hipple, who is my role model for using Scriptable Objects.

  5. That's a great book but it's not about game design.

I might be a bit late to the conversation, but I also wanna add a +1 for The Art Of Game Design. There's a free mobile app for it you can download which contains all the questions for each lense. I've been going through each lense, trying to answer as many questions as I can about my game and it has really helped me solidify the direction I wanna take my game in.
