Lod group not working in editor?

    I made couple of trees with 2 kind of models, one with high detail and other with low detail and put them to lod group, it works perfectly fine in game, prob 120 fps but in editor super laggy, about 20 fps. And i see the lowpoly model in editor when i go far enough...

    I think that is normal. looks like a lot of nice trees.

    Try to enable some at the start. And disable some in editor mode. Is normal that performance in the game is better than an editor drop when you are arriving at the GPU limit. A workaround is to purchase more GPU but I do not like this idea.
    Did you try ECS?

    What does "game" mean? Does it mean an actual build or pressing play in the editor?
    What do you mean with "editor"? Do you refer to the SceneView, GameView or both?
    What Unity version do you use?

    both game and scene view lags but when i press "play" and go to the game inside unity its not lagging at all
