Question Locking Files

    We're currently using one of the last versions of the client before it was rebranded as Unity devops.

    We're running into an issue with file locks. We'd like to go into our cloud and enable locks, but upon doing so, we found we were unable to use anything and were getting error claiming our client version didn't support it. Yet when I google plastic scm and locks there are discussions going back years about how to enabling locking and it's clearly happening on client versions that are much earlier than what we're using.

    If we're using cloud, what is the minimum client version we have to have to handle locking files?

    We released the smart locks on version: 11.0.16.8101
    https://www.plasticscm.com/download/releasenotes/11.0.16.8101

    You will need a version newer than that.
    Anyway, I recommend you upgrade to the very latest version.

    It seems like the legacy gui is completely removed in this newer version.

    Yes, it was removed a few months ago already from the Windows installer.
