So, I've been really annoyed with creating keyframe animation using Unity's Animation window - specifically how do I animate multiple objects that should work together, when selecting a new object causes the current object to jump back to it's default state?
Say I want to dolly a camera over 5 seconds and then move an object in front of that camera. I would like my camera to stay put at that 5 second mark so that I can move the other object in front of it. But, in Unity, as soon as I select my other object the Camera jumps back to it's default state.
It would be really great if the Animation window had a lock function. I could move out to frame n, lock the timeline, and then move other objects as needed.
For now what I'm doing is copying the transform at the frame I need and then make a new one frame animation clip using that - and then set that clip as the default state... it works, but it's a poor workaround.
