"Lock Input to Game View" not working

Using Unity 2020.3.5f1 and the Input System. When in Playmode and moving around in the Scene view, my inputs are applied as if I were in the Game view. I tried toggling "Lock input to game view" to no avail. Can't find any solutions, only a few other posts where people also had this.
