    Hello ,

For the past two days I've been working on a custom editor to do the localization for my game , basically how it works is I import and excelsheet and fill in the data I need , everything is working nicely but my problem is with the languages... I'm translating to Japanese and Arabic , with Japanese I only get question marks instead of characters and with Arabic it's writing from left to right.

is there a way to insert a custom font to my editor or a quick workaround ? or maybe serialize the data then deserialize during run time ??

I probably should have made a thread on some other forum but I didn't know where lol. Thanks !!.

In addition to the font, make sure you've also saved your data file itself as Unicode or UTF-8.

Figured out the problem , as for languages that are written from right to left unity doesn't support their formatting or linking the letters so basically I will have to find a fixer that links the letters , as for japanese I didn't have the Japanese language installed on my windows lol. thanks for the tip though !

It wasn't a problem of having the right font settings rather it was the problem with unity's inspector fields. thanks for the tip though !
