Error message: Loading Script Assembly Failed for Library/ScriptAssemblies/Assembly-UnityScript.dll

Win 7 64 bit, Comodo Antivirus, and Unity 4.0.0f7

My AV detected a false positive in Assembly-UnityScript.dll during one of the compiling runs that Unity did. I haven't been able to add an exception, becuase Unity builds(or copies/creates, I don't actually know) this file each time it tries to open the project assets.

I'm trying to contact Comodo's support about it, to get the false positive fixed.

But in the meantime I'm trying to get Unity to work again. See, even with their software closed and no longer running, Unity still has the same error.

It cannot access the file, this is repeatable by opening the project again. Other projects seem to be affected as soon as I open them since the glitch as well. The strange thing is that Unity can make the file just fine, if I delete the ScriptAssemblies folder, Unity will rebuild it next time it launches. But then the same error will happen right after that.

Furthermore, I ALSO cannot access the dll file, even through explorer as Administrator. (Windows 7 constantly nags me that I need permission from myself to do anything to it.) I can delete the file, but I can not copy or access it (or rename it, or anything else really).

This is preventing me from submitting the file to the Anti-virus team as well, so even if I get a work around for Unity, I need to be able to get around this to submit a copy of the dll so they can fix the bug in their software in the first place.

This access permissions error is true whether Unity, the AV software, both, or none of them are running.

I don't know what else to add really. The entire thing is basically broken now.

I need more info on this file to know where to go from here.

Update Edit: I restarted and turned off my AV before running Unity, and it seems to have temporarily allowed me to access the file.

However, once I close Unity, I no longer have read write permission, and also any attempt to do any operations to copies of the file(such as copying it to my desktop, then trying to attach it to an email) result in a "Access Denied" error. Oddly enough, I can delete the file just fine. I just can't do ANYTHING else with it.

I've had no problems copying and backing up this file before when I did backups of my Unity Project directories.

What does Unity do with this file, and why can the Administrator account not access it?

I have the same error. You can fix it by disabling Comodo antivirus for a moment, then launching unity and loading the project thus letting it generate the file again. Then go to Comodo antivirus settings and add it to excluded files. Re-enable Comodo antivirus and you're good to go.

I run into this just now. Changing the platform from Web Player to PC,Mac&Linux Standalone works for me.
