    Hi, I have a quick question/observation about the Boxy Knight model.

    He's working great as a placeholder as I work on my code, but there is something strange about his animator controller--two things, actually:

    1) There is no "Any State" showing in the FSM. I thought those existed in all animator controllers.
    2) The "Die" state does not show up in the animator controller, but yet I get the Die animation if I set the "Die" parameter in code. I don't understand how that is even possible.

    Can you shed some light on what is going on? I've attached a screenshot showing what my animator controller looks like.

    I've been able to add a new Die state, so it isn't really a problem (though it would be nice if the "Any State" were visible so I could use it). The attached snapshot is what I get in a new project using the asset.

    Update
    Version 1.6 new content
    - 2 animations (Strafe Left, Strafe Right) -
    What is the diference to the old strafe left and right? Version 1.3 same animations names!
    - 29 male costumes
    - 46 female costumes
    - 5 hand auras
    - 1 FX
    - 6 back props
    - 3 hairstyles - is this quantity right? 4 hairs at the update image!
    - 4 customized character prefabs


    Base Normal Controller is with "fly idle" and "fly forward" activated in this update. I just update the package in my project and I was using this animator and my player script didnt work anymore. It took me a while to discover!


    Awesome work again... You guys are really good! I'll buy another packages for sure! Next will be orcs xD

    Waiting news about more enemy characters or monsters to mega series.

    Hi FBones!

    The Any State is located on the left side of the animator window. You will need to hold middle mouse and move to the left. You will see Any state and Die animation :)

    They are the same but these new strafe animations have no root motion. Some users requested for it.

    It's 3! The red hair in the image is an old hair. Haha :D

    Oops. We will turn it off next time. Thanks for informing us.

    a little request... can you guys, next update, organize the folders "Accessories" and "Weapons" to be more friendly.

    Example:

    03 Attach Accessories
    - Head main (crows, helmets, hats ...)
    - Head secundary (ears, horns ...)
    - Back (wings, magical props, bags ...)

    04 Attach Hands
    - Right Hand (axes, swords, wands ...
    - Left Hand (shields ...)
    - Others (arrows, quivers?* ...)


    Head main and secundary can be use together.

    Dont know where we need to put "Weapon - Hand Auras" and "Accessorie - Special Effects".
    *Quivers - weapons or accessories?


    Would be awesome for us... users! xD

    Hi, I just got the Little Heroes Mega Pack a few days ago.

    I had one request: I know that it is tough to make full-body armor covering the toons, but could you try making some costumes that looked like armor? I just mean doing what you already do (hand painting the costume) but make it look like chain mail, plate mail, etc. That was the one thing that I thought was really missing. I don't see any costumes that look like a knight, for example.

    Hey guys,

    I bought the Customizable Fantasy Buildings pack yesterday and am enjoying it a lot.

    One question I have is: will you be adding some more ground/environment options?

    I'm thinking in particular (in order of priority for me):
    1. Paths or roads around buildings and town;
    2. Environment 3D "tiles": water, hills, mountains (so I can create an RPG like maze more easily);
    3. Indoor buildings: dungeons, castles, forts, cathedrals, etc.
    4. Environmental diversity: different ground styles (even within a theme like Forest or Dark)
    5. More tree variety.

    Perhaps this is out of scope for this pack, in that case a Mega styled pack for environments would be welcome for me.

    Anyways, keep up the good work!

    I'll be looking forward to additions to the pack. Note that if a separate "mega indoor environments pack" would become a reality, I'd buy it!

    Yes you can use Mega characters with Toon Series environment and enemies because they have the same style! But do note that Toon Series humanoid characters are slightly different from Mega Series humanoid characters. So probably you might want to avoid using both humanoid characters from both series together. The rest (environment and non humanoid characters) are fine and look good together :)

    Yes we will be adding more assets to both Toon Series and Mega Series.

    In this latest update, the focus is on having more costumes. Therefore, we have added more costumes like Knight, Archer, Barbarian etc. We have also added more costumes for the new skin colors - Brown, Gorgon and Spideress. Check all of them out!

    You might have already notice from the image above. We have also added a very interesting looking wings :) Hope you like it!

    I just saw you created the "Battleground Forest Mega Series". That's exactly what I needed/what I meant so I instantly bought it. Please expand it / bring more of that type of asset.

    Hi!

    Is this system designed to allow for runtime updates to the model? What I mean is, if I find a new helmet and pop it on my avatar, does your system allow for the new helmet to show on the player's model?

    In other words, are your accessories swappable in the game itself?

    For this, you might have to do it the same way you did the Orcs: have different sets for each monster "race." So, a Troll set and whatnot. Maybe have it be priced a bit lower since they won't have as much content as the other Mega Packs.

    Same for an animals Mega Pack. I would love to see one, but you'd probably have to have different packs for each animal. So a horse pack, with different manes and tails, colours, and accessories like armour and wings! That would be awesome. Maybe even antlers, so the horses can be turned into "deer."

    Just bought the Little Heroes pack, because it looks perfect for my needs. It also seems like it'll be easy to create my own hairstyles, props, and whatnot to be used with it :)

    Hi! Sorry for the delayed response :)

    I think it's possible with coding. Currently there's no codes in the package because we are a bunch of artists with little coding experience. But from my experience in game development, it shouldn't be a problem since you can easily attach the new helmet onto the head dummy bone using codes in runtime. Are you familiar with coding?

    Great suggestions. I think this is feasible. But the customization for eg horse is probably less compared to humans. Nevertheless, great suggestion :)

    Yes you can create your props and attach it!!!

    New environment pack texturing in progress! We placed a few heroes and enemies from Little Heroes Mega Pack and Toon Enemies Pack and it's looking good! :D



    We have consolidated the suggestions on what to add in the next Little Heroes Mega Pack's update. Let us know what would you like to see! You might see them in the next update

    5. Strafe while defending

    First off I'd like to say I'm in love with this asset :)
    The only suggestion I have is that you guys make a asset with animals like dogs,cats,chickens and such! Other than that amazing job :)

    Hi! I just bought this asset. Sadly, Unity 5.4.1 seems to have a problem unpacking it. the downloaded file is 107.234.414 bytes big. Can you look into it if that is the correct size? Any idea? Unity console only says "
    Failed to import package with error: Couldn't decompress package
    UnityEditor.Web.JSProxyMgr:DoTasks()"

    The package is pretty big. Therefore please wait for a slightly longer time for it to decompress. And make sure there is about 6gb of free space in your storage. If you are still experiencing problem to import, send us an email via 3dsoulawesome(at)gmail(dot)com

    Thank you for your fast reply. I just tried it on a different machine and it worked. I have no idea what the problem was as there was enough space and all. But that doesn't matter now as I have just imported the package successfully and am back on track. :)

    edit: somehow i seem to have 2 users on this forum. For anyone who might be confused: Heptamind is me. :)
