From what I've read (from another thread on here, can't remember what one) .unitypackage are .tar.gz files, how do I convert those to .tar.gz without. corrupting the files within that folder? Also, I thought if I just manually change the filename extension to .tar.gz the file will end up getting corrupted. :(

    Hello @lanamaryreid,

.unitypackage is the Asset Store format and not the one we use in Package Manager which is not the same thing. You might want to head to https://forum.unity.com/forums/assets-and-asset-store.32/. Also, I'm having a hard time understanding your query as you seem to want to convert tar.gz files into tar.gz files. May I ask you what are you trying to accomplish?

    Cheers,
