My team uses https://discordapp.com/ which works well, it has voice channels, and chat channels allow screenshots, videos, gif, etc to be linked. The only downside is that it doens't have video which we use Google Hangouts or Skype when needed. Hope this helps!

I understand you're trying to promote your game, but that's not a game designing tool, so it doesn't belong in this thread. Considering you posted the same message here shows that you're spamming. Not cool.

Nice list. I think it is worth checking Kanbanize - a great project management online tool. It is really flexible and intuitive, plus it helps you track various projects at the same time.
    Great list.
    Thanks for sharing.

Photopea.com and Gravit.io and vectary.com(3d modeling tool) are great sources for free online designing, but unfortunately, don't provide live view! @Lockedbeast But anondraw.com and multidraw.org do!

@Lockedbeast I think you can draw and share your art via Inkscape by upload it to Open Clipart, it allows people to see when you allow them to.

Would like to add pixelatorapp.com, a tool I wrote to convert images into pixel art.

Interesting, do you have any animated character examples processed through this tool? All the examples on the site are static.

    Questions...

How come Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) hasn't been mentioned for screen capping?

And does anyone know of any decent free preferably open source UML diagramming software?? I don't even care if its for game dev. I just need something I could keep all my plans organized in a file or few. I just tried this ARGOUML software and really got annoyed with it.

Creately Diagram Software can be listed under Project management & wireframing tools. When developing UI for games and brainstorming for ideas its a good solution. Good if yo ucan include in the list

Aseprite is the photoshop of pixelart. Most of pro pixel artist I follow uses it. Includes a lot of fantastic tools specific for this artistic style that photoshop don't have. Of course you can create animations too, etc. The best $15 of your life :D

Sad... looks like Wigio was shut down. Was interested in finding a more "at a glance" asset tracking board than Trello or and more intuitive functionality than Excel.

https://app.clickup.com/ is AMAZING. Screw Trello. Screw Asana, screw all the other project management software. Clickup wins.

Wow, so many different useful tools and services and some of them are real lifesavers for game designers. I also want to recommend this site https://getoutlines.com/, where you can find high quality and very derailed blueprints of different models of cars. Each of its blueprints is editable, and you can change it up to your need. Besides, if you need any other blueprint, you can make an order, prepay, and in a few days, everything will be ready. What is more, compared to other sites, the price isn't hight.

Codecks is a project management tool for game developers, by game developers. It features powerful task tracking & notifications, beautiful UX inspired by trading card games and also built-in community management via discord.

Open Office, Notepad++, a sketchbook with pencils, coffe and you are set.

Coffe, sketchbook and pencils are not free.

So Open Office and Notepad++ is the best answer here.
