Lightweight Render Pipeline "Compiling shader variants"

    Im currently using Unity 2019.3.0a7 and using the LWRP for the first time. I created a new project with the template. Im using the default scene and changed the build target to Android and checked VR (Oculus mobile).

    When I click on Build&Run the build takes forever with the "Compling shader variants" dialog. I waited over an hour and it was still not done (btw clicking on cancel crashes Unity). Im not sure if this is a bug or if this is supposed to be "normal" with the LWRP, but I have never seen any build take this long (the default scene is almost empty).

    Does anyone know a solution?
