Hi everybody, I have got a problem that i can't solve alone. We have tried lots of different model and lights are still going through the mesh from outside the corridor... See, there is a blue light to the left side which shine on the pillar, the same-side bottom edge and the opposite top-side edge... Same for the pink light which is positioned to the right side. We tested with different types of lights and there is the same problem. The modelization has been done with 3ds max and I am pretty sure the issue is not coming from here as my 3D teacher checked it and tried different model... I have attached fbx to import and you can reproduce the issue easily in unity and I am all yours if you need any further details ! Thanks, have a good day/evening.
check the bias on the light. Also, instead of just copy pasting and flipping the normals, try giving some actual width to the walls and ceiling
Hello, thanks for your quick response ! Bias is not doing anything when it is point lights, but directional light bias enlarge the issue. I tried to have larger walls and ceiling but the problem remains.
Actually it works when the walls are really really thick ! but this is a bit weird because when you got windows you can see the thickness through :s
I've noticed that the camera settings might affect shadow volumes. The near and far settings, not sure if it will work but worth a try.
