Hey, I feel like i must be doing something wrong but any light i create that is not direction, does not want to bake. I can view the light before hand, clearly illuminating, I set the light to static and change light type to baked.

But when i bake the light it just ends up looking like this:

I'm really not sure what i am suppose to do. Thanks!

Anybody got any ideas? I feel like I'm going crazy and just missing something simple.

Do you have multiple lights selected? The intensity is dashed out.

Have you tried turning up the brightness/range to some silly numbers to see if it is actually working? Does your geometry and UVs?

I tried boosting it to 8 and it only slight ambiently increased the brightness. The fix seems to be making the directional light static and baked as well, which i didn't want to do but its good enough for now.

ah you have a directional light as well, is that washing out the other lights? I guess you have tried disabling it?

Yeah making the directional light as baked is the only way to make the lights show up. Now I have an unrelated problem where it seems to be overlapping UV's in the lightmaps.

There is a setting in the baked gi for uv padding. Maybe that will help?

Yeah that seems to have solved it. Well i guess it all worked out then. No idea i had to have the directional light as baked or nothing would bake. Seems a strange system but im just glad it works haha
