Hey, I feel like i must be doing something wrong but any light i create that is not direction, does not want to bake. I can view the light before hand, clearly illuminating, I set the light to static and change light type to baked.

But when i bake the light it just ends up looking like this:

I'm really not sure what i am suppose to do. Thanks!

Have almost same issue in the test scene
    Left: Realtime point light
Right: Same light changed to Baked

As you see lightmapping adds some artifacts

I have literally this exact same problem, and it's infuriating as every project I try requires me to leave the lights on (as it were) because baking will refuse to work. I'm even doing the same tutorial that DontShoot is and having the same problem. I'm following the instructor exactly (or at least I think I am; obviously something's different) and the moment I click "Build" all reflections and shadows from the point light go bye bye. Both the point light and directional light are set to Important and Soft Shadows, the walls are marked as Static. Everything's fine as long as the lights are left as Realtime or turned on in the scene, but baking at this point doesn't seem to do anything other than build a light map whose sole purpose is to take up space.

I've seen other people have this problem elsewhere online, but have yet to find anyone who has provided an answer.

Well this is fun. I'm not sure what changed, but now the light probes and non-static sphere are all pitch black.
