Lightmaps in linear space

    So when I'm baking lightmaps in a project set to linear color space, I get a warning that the lightmaps are in the wrong color space. Looking at the lightmapping window, I can see it's set to gamma space, but I can't find an option to switch it to linear?

    Yes, and I don't see why I would get this warning if I hadn't. I've also tried re-baking. Attached a screenshot showing my settings and the warning.

    I'm assuming the correct behavior should be that the lightmapper detects the correct color space, hence no setting for this in the lightmapping window.

    They know, it's been there since beta 1 and in some other topic Aras said it was fixed internally. I sure can't wait to finally actually be able to use lightmapping :D

    Yes, this is a known issue that we are working on. It is not fixed in the beta yet but it has high priority. Thanks for reporting this.
