Lightmapping Pixelated in Unity 5

    When I bake lightmaps in Unity 5 they appear pixelated and useless.
    This is a mesh with custom, very clean lightmap UVs. When I have "Generate Lightmap UVs" on in the inspector the mesh bakes fine but I would like to use my own UV layout.

    In Unity 5, the lightmap uv is not anymore the secondary uv channel, but the third or fourth, can't remember which one it was.

    I am having the same issue (pixelated lightmap) - but i am using the "Generate Lightmap in UV2" option while importing the mesh into Unity. The tooltip tells also that this option is generating the lightmap uv in the 2nd uv-channel.
    What i am doing wrong here?

    The tooltip was most likely just not updated. As you can see in the first post, this option works for popMark which means you don't have the same issue and should start your own thread. And a screenshot is an absolute must for this kind of issue. There are different causes for the issue and seeing the effect usually helps to isolate the cause.
