Lightmap Manager 2: Animated Lightmaps, per object baking and saving

    Hi Baha,

    I use Unity4.2 while the version of LM2 still available from download page of Assert Store is v2.2 (which doesn't seem to work with Unity4).

    Would you please provide me the latest version which works on Unity4? I have sent an email with receipt of LM2 on 10 Oct 2013 (10 days ago) to your support email box "support@mixeddimensions.net" but unfortunately till now no any reply from your team.

    Yea, it's been pretty quiet over there. When I first bought the asset, I emailed on Sunday morning with a problem. he spent the next 4 hours updating code for me, exposing variables, supplying additional scripts. Unbelievable support. My opinion was that he was a pretty decent guy. Maybe something happened to him? Mine works with the latest version of unity, I think, what problems are you having? Mine is a little buggy, but it does what I need it to. I guess I cold send you my copy if you showed me your receipt, you know? PM me.

    Looking great! I have just found this asset, and it looks like it will fit perfectly to the workflow I'm describing there (using Unity to generate UVs for completely untextured objects and baking AO for them, then using those objects in various scenes, sometimes with animation and not as static objects).

    I was looking into creating a shader using a second UV channel to allow myself to store lightmaps as traditional textures disconnected from level folders and assigned through traditional material inspector, thus ditching the lightmapping system completely after the initial baking. I take it your implementation of per-object lightmaps works differently and isn't relying on custom shaders?

    Yea I agree with you, this asset works great when I first bought it long time ago but seems a bit buggy now on Unity4. Therefore, I wanted to confirm with Baha which version is latest (sorry, I can't find information about this.)

    Hope he will re-activate this asset some day. :D

    Hallo guys just bought the plugin. We have issues with the animated lightmap feature. It basicly produces a error everytime we hit the bake animation button. We need a update for version4 of unity or they should really take it off the asset store. I was really disappointed because we can basicly not use any of the features we wanted the plugin for.

    Any update on it this? i bought it a few months ago when the pack was on sale. so its still for sale. hoping this will get fixed soon.

    I have an issue where I try to bake a selected mesh after I do my lightmapping. and it crashes. what gives??

    I've been trying to find this on the Asset store - it's nowhere! Has it been taken down? Also, the demo in the original post is a 404 link. Is this project still active? I really, really want to buy this.

    I see that there is demand for this plugin but not much work from the developer. Is anyone aware if this works as it should with the latest release of Unity (4.3)? It looks like a superb tool but I'm concerned it's just going to fall over.

    This Lightmap Manager has grown into a very full-featured tool, and now baha has to do a lot of work to clear out the bugs with this new Unity release, and I think that's why we've seen very few updates.

    Do we know if Baha is continuing to work on this? Has there been any word that a fully working release will eventually come?

    I just need to bake selected objects without loosing previous lightmaps. Can anyone tekl me if this is working with unity 4.6?

    You shouldn't have any problem doing that. Keep all of the objects on and select only the ones you want to bake.

    With the standar unity lightmapper it will crush previous maps for sure if you bake selected. With "Beast helper" tool I was able to save the lightmaps but now for some reason is not loading them corrctly. This asset is supposed to do this right? save the maps of an specific object so I can later on recall them, right? Does it work with 4.6.? I want to bake a big scene by parts, or update the ligthmap or an are without crushing the rest of the lightmaps.
