Prior to installing Unity 5.2, my game looked like this: lighting5.1.PNG

After installing Unity 5.2, my game now looks like this: lighting5.2.PNG

I'm not doing anything special with the lighting, it's just got a directional light in there atm and nothing else (the filter stuff in the first screenshot can be ignored, I was just testing and then removed it).

The lighting is fine in the editor game view, whilst the game isn't running.

I've not made any changes to the default settings from creating a new project.

What am I missing? Did something change with 5.2 that makes the game darker? Unless you make a change somewhere?

Have you checked the lighting panel to compare the settings? Are you using baked or realtime lighting?

As far as I know the lighting settings are still set to their default values.

    In 5.1: Capture5.1.PNG

    In 5.2: Capture5.2.PNG

    A small update...

If I press play whilst in this scene, the lighting is fine, however coming to this scene from another and the lighting is wrong - even though no settings are changed.

Hi there i had the same problem when switching between scenes but if you build the game [so you play in game not editor and switch between scenes then it should be fine] i think its something to do with lighting baking/ or this bar that loads at the bottom right when it loads all the lightings

@i3artyy2222 That is the case, thank you so much! I hadn't done a build yet, it's still early in development there has been no need to do one ... just did a quick build to test and it's fine!
