Just to give a bit more info... Im using the HDRenderPipeline.
volumetric lighting has not been added yet- in to the HD version
You can add it manually
How do I go about doing that?
I would also like to know how to add volumetric lighting to HDRP in 2018.3

You can find volumetric light controller in the "Fog/Sky/HD Volume" Game Object components in your scene

Lighting box 2 has been used Post Processing stack 2. So it's compatible with VR
but some effects may not works on Single Path VR (you must use multi path wit lower performance), Depth Of Field,Volumetric Light,Global fog
I might be doing something wrong but it's not working for me.. The only thing I have different is that I have the built-in post processing downloaded from the package manager... But aside from that I have it set as multipass, and forward as the rendering pass for the center eye camera, where I have it installed.
I don't get this yet?...
I recreated the project from scratch and it worked... I don't know what was wrong.. but I can confirm it works as expected with Oculus Rift!!
hi ali. lightingbox isn't working on latest version of unity: 2019.1.2f1 hdrp. I've got namespace error:
Assets\LightingBox2\Scripts\LB_LightingBoxHelper.cs(259,60): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'VolumeProfile' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
Only HD Pipeline version 4.x is supported (HD Pipeline version 5.x is not supported)
Built In and Lightweight works well on 2019

Using Unity 2018.4.0f1
I have a PFSController big scene that has all the possible optimizations and runs at 45fps. As soon as I apply the lightbox2 to the scene the fps count drops to 2-3fps.
So the first thing I tried was to check all the "lightweight" settings possible, change the render path to forward, and lighting set up to baked.. still nothing... Then tried every combination of effects possible with no success.. So, at last I just deleted the lightbox2 folder from project but still had the issue. Luckily for me I had a backup just from the moment before importing the lightbox2 package so I then re-tested the scene and everything was just fine again, even when importing the lightbox2 package. Then, the project messes up as soon as I add the lightbox2 tab to the scene and the post processing volume and the other stuff is created. After that, no even deleting everything regarding lightbox2 (including main folder) fix things...
Any ideas..... I'm stuck here for several days now....

Im looking for something that can bake lightmap at runtime... Or if not bake... At least look much much better than unity real time light.
This is basic Unity lighting, and only makes viewing lighting settings / setting post process profiles easier to navigate.

Yes you can use lighting box2 for fully realtime lighting
But get is not possible to bake lightmap at runtime
You must focus on your game optimization
The most important part in optimization is the poly count .your poly count must be less than 1 million tri

My work with Lighting Box2
I m using "Mobile Lighting Box" with Unity 2018.4 for my Mobile Apps, and very often I simply can t find the Lighting Box in the >Editor >Window >Tag to open and use the Window-Settings. Obviously reopen the Editor and/or boot sometimes helps (with some projects, because I can work there with the lighting box) but today I opened an older project and installed the lighting box via Asset Store - and again the the lightuing box does not apear in the Editor-Window-Links. Nothing helps.
You have error on the console.
You must fix the error first.
I like the asset it organizes everything well-Unity should adopt the system to make peoples lives easier. It feels like a standard shader but for lighting.
Just a few issues, I am very disappointed that these are still in this many years later:
1. The undo is broken most of the time. Changes in the scene view when using Undo don't revert and show the results. The values of the sliders get undo but the result doesn't. This is a bug.
2.Many of these changes only work in play mode is there a way to fix this so it works in scene view?
3.If I change the values of the scene view objects they will not update in lighting box. This needs to be fixed. For example if I increase my sunlight intensity and save it gets reverted to the value in lighting box sunlight intensity. Please fix this so it doesn't matter which one is getting edited they should share the same values interchangeably.
4.Some things i don't need like snow, color grading and translucency how to disable them?
5.Check for update give me this error:
Cancelling DisplayDialog because it was run from a thread that is not the main thread: Opening file failed Opening file Assets/LightingBox2/Resources/Config/LightingBox_Update_N30.txt: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
6. Because of the Lighting box overriding all my assets now I can't have 1 Directional Light with Shadows and 1 without, it forces all Directional to have shadows how can I fix this?
1. Use Refresh button on LB window
2. It's related to the unity scene view update time(interval). It's not possible to do anything
3. It's not possible. You can disable settings in lighting box. for example you can disable Enabled option in sun settings tab
4. Open LB_LightingBoxHelper script and fine Update_ColorGRading function and disable its codes(add /* */)
5. Try again ... or delete Assets/LightingBox2/Resources/Config/LightingBox_Update_N30.txt
6. Disable scene tab Enabled option after applying your desired settings
Would this asset be a good addition for development for Oculus Quest? I'm still not clear what post processing is allowed/suggested when developing for that Android based platform. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
