    The problem is about effect support and is not performance (post processing stack)

    I have just started using the asset. There are some issues I am facing with the shaders "Shader is not supported". I am using version 1.3 of lightingBox Capture.PNG Capture1.PNG Capture.PNG and Unity version is 5.50f3.

    Hi, I'm having this issue with building using the terrain shader, is there a fix?

    What is your unity version ?
    I get same issue on 5.4 and 5.5 . I will add 5_layer terrain shader to fix this issue

    I'd love to get a build to test, is there anything I can do to fix or do I have to wait for an update? Do you know what the error is in relation to?

    I'm sorry
    Open the shader (Terrain 6-Layers) and add some free space in the code. Then save it and go back to the editor to compile shader again to fix the issue .

    1. Press "Space" on your MonoDevelop editor after opening the shader (Search in project files) -Like a notepad text editing
    2. Press Ctrl+S to save
    3. Close MonoDevelop and go back to the editor

    - Added Post Stack 2 support
    - Added AO and Bloom settings
    - Updated terrain shader for fixing Errors and Mac support (Mac needs Metal for tessellation and compute shaders)

    Tiny issue, but it looks like you have the word "Destiny" as one of the fog settings. I assume it's meant to be "Density".

    - Color settings (Exposure,Contrast,Temperature)
    - Bloom
    - AO
    - Auto focus DOF


    Road map :
    - Adding different shaders
    - Adding particle prefabs
    - Adding some new videos about switching between interior and exterior scenes + Profiles
    - Upgrading setting menu into the Post Processing Stack 2

    Fully integrated with Post Processing Stack 2

    Current AO effect from post stack 2 has better quality (Similar to UE4) :

    I’ve just done your Snow tutorial step by step I really enjoyed it and I learnt a lot thankyou for making it.

    Is it possible to have these displacement shaders on objects like a simple rock model?
    that way the rocks would match perfectly with the terrain rock.

    Anyways I’m loving Lighting Box its amazing!

    Yes you can. I will add Tessellation shaders for other surfaces in the next update. You can use an Sphere to make rock from texture.

    I followed your tutorial using a rock texture from textures.com (only 512px) and Bitmap 2 Material to get the height and made the best rock texture I’ve ever made. http://www.mogstat.com/temp_images/rock.jpg

    Having the ability put that texture on an object opens up all sorts of possibilities not just rocks but overhanging cliffs even caves.

    For example, in snow demo.

    Another thing... I created a new project, change to Linear and after I imported the Lighting Box 1.3. And after imported the model fbx, but I have this errors:

    I make the uvw unwrap in 3ds max, now when I import the fbx to Unity I need to check "Generate Lightmap UVs"?

    Another question: I baked the model with LightingBox, but when I change "Shaded" to "Baked Lightmap", the model disappears...

    1. You need to unwrap second UV Channel in max for the lightmap. First UV Channel is for texture UV alignment. Second one will be used as Lightmap UV. I'm not max user. You can watch my Maya video tutorial :


    2. Where is "Shaded" option ?

    1. Yes, in 3ds I know, but when you import the fbx in Unity, you have a option called "Generate Lightmap UVs".

    Unchecked this option if you had already created in your model.
    Unity Lightmap UV Generator is not good as Maya and Max for Interior Scenes.
