    Terrain shader has been completed an will be available few day later on the asset tore : (Contact me to get it before release)

    I just dropped in to say you are a genius. Even Frostbite is basic, as I had analyzed these game engines during BF3. Someone had to come up with this and you did. I bought your asset. Congratulations.

    Possibly the best video to be created in this whole thread, and that's saying something. Brilliant.

    This video should be on the unity store.

    Are the textures included? If not where can we get them.

    Hello. Is it possible to use a Weather System, such as ENVIRO together with Lighting Box?
    If so, can you do some tutorial explaining how? Its lighting system is excellent, I would like to use it with ENVIRO

    Did a camera fly thru of the Autumn scene with some fitting background music.
    I used RTP, speed trees and grass, unity tree creator trees and the Horizon lightingbox preset.

    What I did notice tho is in the camera global fog script by default the height is unchecked and when I check it lightingbox always turns it back off on play. Maybe have it in lighting box to be able to use both if you want.

    LightingBox is a quick way to adjust scene lighting settings:
    - Sun settings
    - Ambient source settings
    - Post processing settings
    - Lens flare
    - Volumetric light
    - Fog
    - Depth of field
    - Terrain shader
    and ...

    Most Weather Systems or day/night cycle systems has controlling on the Fog,Ambient and sun settings. So you cannot use Lighting box fog,ambient and sun features.
    Other settings will be available to modify
    These are some test from a guy on ENVIRO

    Used CTS and lighting box, took me about 45 mins. It's really amazing how effective the lightings and post proc are in such a short amount of time.

    Thanks. I really like Ali's work this version (latest one he sent via pm). It's even easier to make things look realistic now.

    If you ask from him for latest version via pm, you'll get the one I'm using. This asset uses the post processing stack and other effects assets which are free. But the author has spent alot of time tuning presets and light setup to make things look good. Open up the lighting box window (I think from "window") and drag and drop setting files and hit refresh.

    The latest version included a tessellation shader that you can use. The idea is that now you don't need to pay for a terrain shader to achieve good outdoors scenes.

    why is it when I import your asset its importing it as a full project which will wipe out all my project settings?

    This is because the asset is in the category "Complete Projects" on the asset store
    It's good for beginners to get correct lighting settings by default

    You can import the asset into a blank project and drag files into your project
    My settings changes :
    Only dx11 API (player settings)
    Deferred rendering (Graphics settings)
    Linear color space (Player settings)

    is the new terrain stuff DX11 only? i imported the version you've sent me via PM and the terrain is black
    oh, unity 2017.1.0f3 & MacOSX
    found the issue - its the material: cant use materials with shaders which need tangent geometry on terrain. use shaders in Nature/Terrain instead

    This is not important

    To fix the issue, got to player settings and only use OpenGL Core (or Vulkan ) as Graphics API

    Also open the shader and then add glcore and vulkan to exclude renderer list

    if you have Amplify Shader Editor, you can compile it directly

    if not, select your shader (Terrain 6 Layer) and see inspector about messages

    Windows

    The only thing I found that has an easy workaround, is if I want to change one of the textures on the script, I have to open the actual material for it to update, doesn't happen just in the script UI.

    Are there steps to import the needed utilities into an already established game project?
    This would be more efficient (I think) than importing a 150 GB project into a Lighting Box project.

    I'm starting to work on Post Processing Stack 2 integration
    New stack 2 has a bit different settings and is a bit harder than stack 1 for beginners. But don't worry. I have converted stack 1 profiles into 2 :

    stack 2 :
    - A bit better performance
    - Has mobile optimized option (only works on iOS currently)
    - Volume support

    Curious - Will this asset work in VR? I'm using realtime lighting on a rather dark game but would love to use this to help me out with lighting.
