I've been digging into spherical harmonics a bit and have implemented light probes using 2 band SH. I thought since Unity free lacked light probes and reflection probes I'd give it a go implementing it. I can probably kick it up to 3 band SH with higher shader versions. I've also implemented reflection probes with cross fading of the nearest 4 elements and a simple roughness map for physically based shading. All the lighting is using the probes only. Not sure if I'll go down the free path or make this a cheap asset store thing.

I would purchase it on the asset store.

Thanks. The one problem I have is baking out the cube maps during editor time in free. There is no render to texture so I have to capture screen shots which isn't the most elegant way to do it.

Please, I beg you to release this! It's incredible...and it's amazing for those who don't have 1700 dollars to buy Unity pro.

I'll see if I can release it sometime soon. I'm just a bit careful now with asset store stuff especially when people are paying for it:)
