I created a very simple model in Blender. It is just a cube with a face inset and extruded.

When I pull this into Unity (2018.3.1) light makes it way through the walls.

I have looked at at playing with the light's settings (normal bias ect) to try and see why this is happening. Nothing I do seem to help. Only thing is to make the walls so thick that the light leak is trapped inside the wall, but that makes the "Cupboard" look nothing like it should.

Any hints to stop this from happening ?

    Hi,

Which render pipeline are you using? That kind of shadow tearing shouldn't be happening with standard render pipeline (with default values.)

Also, are you using lightmapping or not? (doesn't look like it but just in case.)

I am using the standard render pipline. Just opened Unity created a new project and imported the model. I did not change anything else in the project settings. Not using light mapping.
