libiPhone-lib.a too huge for release version

    It's about 800M~1G even in a empty project,how to cut it's size down for release? Because symlink unity libraries should not be check with build.
    This file make my ios pack also very large.
    By the way my Unity version is 5.31 p1 personal

    Have you ever looked how big the archived app will be?
    Probably not as big as your libiPhone-lib.a if your unity project was indeed as empty as you described.

    Thanks for reply,the size of ipa is 800M in local disk,and 320M on appStore,it's also too big too me,and make download very slow.

    Can you take a look into the unity build log? There you can see what unity is including into the build. Maybe something is going wrong there.

    Unity build log? You mean the console window? No useful information.And how can I weed out anything in build?
