Hi, I already have Lenovo Y700 laptop with i5 and 240ssd and soon I will have some money and I think about selling my laptop and buying iMac. Is that good device to do stuff in Unity? I thought about i5 version with 1080p display. Do you think guys it will be better that my laptop for unity?

Unless your making something really graphically intense that should be fine. I would suggest putting your money into a second monitor so that when your home you have more screen space, this is a must have for many people and it can drastically improve workflow. Unity runs on pretty much anything and as long as your game isn't to graphically intense (VR and stuff) you should be fine with what you have.

iMac is a fine machine for developing on mobile but if your projects would be like Archviz that you will do a lot of baking its a better solution to invest on a Ryzen 1800x sytem that will have almost the same price and many times better performance.

I'm going to write games for mobile platforms. Mostly android. I thought about iMac to have opportiunity to write games for iOS but I think I'll stay with my laptop and I'll just buy second monitor and a keyboard to make my work more comfortable. Thank you guys for ur answers.
