learning about terrains

    The terrain is pretty cool, but what's with all the balls bouncing around? At first I thought it was snow... :)

    Really cool! but I did notice that the grass was one fern branch waving around. also have you tried using a skybox?

    heres a cool pic I took of it!

    I'm getting ancey myself, I think if the new iMac isn't released this coming Tuesday, I'm gonna just order mine anyway.

    I really want to play with Unity and this waiting for the price drop is killing me.. :evil:

    Picking the wrong thing for use as grass can be a funny thing to do, and the fern branches look neat.

    I have tried sky boxes, but haven't succeeded yet.

    I was at this thing today: http://barcamp.pbwiki.com/iPhoneDevCampNYC and showed some of the others how quickly I could make one of those terrain scenes. I think they're excited at the possibilities for iPhone games.
