Learn Unity UI workflows in-editor with the Interactive Guide to Cross-Platform UI

To better support Unity creators in their learning journeys, we're testing out new ways of teaching editor tools and workflows. Read on to learn about the prototype release of Interactive Guides, a new in-editor tutorial course for experienced Unity creators.



The Interactive Guide to Cross-Platform UI offers a set of guided, in-editor tutorials for Unity creators seeking to learn the workflows used for creating cross-platform user interfaces. It's intended for creators who are already familiar with core Unity concepts, but want to learn more about topics like creating screen-adaptive UIs, managing UI inputs, and UI performance optimization.

The Guide makes use of Unity's In-Editor Tutorial Framework, so each section of the tutorial guides you with visual indicators throughout the editor and verifies that you correctly complete each step before progressing to new concepts.

After completing the Guide, you'll have an understanding of the approaches you can take to create a UI that works across PC, console, and mobile devices. It's available for download now via the Unity Asset Store and you can find more details on how to get started with it over on Unity Learn.
