Learn Unity 3d 2016? books, course?

    hello all, I am new in unity, dont know where to start, there are lots of good tutorials but outdated, I want to ask people here for good books in unity 3d or course to take? I currently subsribed in lynda and pluralsight, I am asking for, suggestions, will be much appreciated.

    The book I wrote is very highly rated on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/161729232X

    It doesn't teach programming from scratch though; you should start with some basic programming tutorials elsewhere.

    Lynda.com might be all you need for starting out, I checked out a little of it when I got my LinkedIn Premium trial. Have you watched any of the videos yet? Some say those video-tutorial pay-sites are a rip off, but I find the videos top notch.
