    Intro to Spatial Audio

    Recorded March 1st, 2023

Audio is one of the most overlooked aspects of interactive development, but it’s also one of the first things that can disrupt a user’s immersion if it’s done poorly — or worse, completely forgotten about. This session covers how you can use both audio sources and spatial audio in your work. You will learn how to use the audio mixer and audio effects, as well as how to time and sequence audio tracks in the Timeline.

Quick question: for audio spatializers in VR, do these different options—e.g., from Oculus and HTC—work across platforms? That is, if I implement the HTC plugin, will it work on a Meta Quest 2?

These SDKs are platform dependent, meaning Windows vs Android. So I would check their docs!
