Question Leaderboard entry limits and predicting tiers

    Hi, I'm looking to implement a feature that reports to my player "You scored among the top X% of players" after each gameplay round.

    I've configured a tiered leaderboard, which seems to be exactly what I want, but I just want to clear up some unknowns.

    If I have one leaderboard for all players and don't intent to reset it, is there a limit to how many entries that leaderboard can contain?

    Is there also a way to query the leaderboard to predit the tier for a score without adding it to the leaderboard?

    Hi rjc,

    There is no explicit limit to the number of entries that a leaderboard can contain.

    Regarding predicting the tier for a score, your best bet might be to query the top score for each tier starting from the lowest tier (or skip some tiers if you have a reasonable heuristic available), and then compare the new score with the top entry for each tier. You can stop querying the tiers when you've found the correct one.
