Last month to submit your game to AzPlay Indie Game Fest (€ 25,000 in prizes)

    Hi,

    tomorrow begins the last month to submit your games to the VII AzPlay Festival of Independent Games. It´s free to submit your games. The deadline is September 30th.

    AzPlay (Bilbao, Spain) has become consolidated as one international reference for the promotion of new projects, awarding prizes every year to the most original, creative and innovative independent videogames of the moment. Over 500 projects from the 5 continents have been received during these 5 years and over 200,000 euros in prize money distributed.

    Those people wishing to present their projects must enroll using the form enabled on the https://goo.gl/75YMmN prior to 30th September. The video game finalists will be published on 17th October 2016. Check out the rules here:

    AzPlay has established 5 awards of 5,000 euros for the following categories: best original idea, best creative design, best sound – music, best playability and best Basque videogame.

    after reading the rules, it say all material will belong to AzPlay after submission: can you explain ?

    Hi Damien,
    I don´t see anywhere in the rules "all material will belong to AzPlay". Could you tell me please which is the point that makes you think that? Maybe this way I can explain your doubts. Thanks.

    it was: All the works enrolled in this competition, selected or otherwise, will become part of the AzPlay document archive, and the organization may not use said material for profit making purposes.

    so after reading twice its more clear, i first thought we had to give all right/and source for a second and spilled my coffee before closing the webpage:eek:

    It refers to the presented games are included in a file to find out which games have been presented every year. In any case the organization can NOT make any commercial use of the game, as explained in the last sentence.
