Lag when loading ads in background (banner/interstitial/video ads - banner and interstitial)

    Hi,

    All my games lag when I'm loading ads.

    In my native apps, it's ok.

    But on Unity, the frame rate drop down during few minutes...

    Is there anybody who know how to handle this issue ?

    (tested with chartboost, admob, iAd, unity ads).

    nobody from unity would know unless you submit bug report.

    well, chartboost/admbo are third-party plugin, so if you can create *small* repro with unity iAd impl or unity ads - drop case number so we can have a look

    Yes, Even in my game I started noticing same with unity ads..It precache ads in background but I think since it is video ads so game & internet connection takes load. So the game running in foreground starts lagging. Any solution for this?

    Hi,

    In fact it's when catching, as said by Djoshi.

    I'm not using unity implementation of iAd because I'm using admin mediation.

    So... No solution so far, right ?

    Still lags, even on google ads. Modern internet takes all device's resource to load those

    I suggest replying to Alexey's post above with the case number he asked for. That does seem to improve the chances of a response. You got a comment from a Unity person, make the most of it.
