when the Label shows up the first time on the message box of unity : "opening Visual Studio, this may take some time" shouldn't the team of unity developers add another message called like : "opening Visual Studio, this may take infinite time for slow laptops" ;)

Use Visual Studio Code, that's smaller and faster alternative. It's free.

Yeah, Visual Studio Code is exactly what you want if you're having trouble opening VS in 2020.

Though, honestly? As somebody who used VS a decade ago on hardware that was extremely weak and as somebody who uses it to this day, if you're waiting for VS to open you've got more to worry about than your IDE of choice. Even on my low spec test platform (AMD Ryzen™ 3 3250U, 4GB RAM, 500GB 5200rpm drive) , VS never takes more than a minute to open.

Okay this one is legit. 2020 has been taking about that long to load even my smaller game jam projects. It's kinda F***ed.
