Are we getting one in 2020.2?
the package is available if you add it to your manifest manually https://packages.unity.com/com.unity.kinematica
To which versions can it be added?
And where can one find documentation for it?
From the linked package, it looks like it requires Unity 2019.3+ and the documentation can be found here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.kinematica@latest
Keep in mind that because this was found by digging through their package repo and not through an official announcement by a Unity rep, I'm not sure how ready the package and/or documentation is for use outside Unity developers.
Thanks! I tried to load the package via the manual url in the package manager, but that did not work. Any ideas?
put this line to your packages/manifest.json:
This documentation is something to behold!
There's a Unite Now session about Kinematica coming up: https://forum.unity.com/threads/uni...tion-matching-for-character-animation.878761/
